People say the Klitschkos wouldn't be so good if only they weren't so tall. That's like arguing that Mike Tyson would never be champ had he not had punching power, or that Muhammad Ali was only good because of his quickness relative to his size. This may be true, but are they really Tyson or Ali without these tools? The Klitschkos' size is a fundamental part of who they are and what they bring into the ring; take this element away and they cease to be Klitschkos, thus making that argument null and void.

People also tend to underrate Wlad's boxing ability and that Vitali is a natural born fighter.

It's all good, I enjoy reading your posts. All I'm pointing out is the first thing you said here is Klitschko fans are going to come in and call them gods because they think they're the best of all time. Thinking someone is the best of all time does not mean you are proclaiming them a god. Lol

I've heard countless Klitschko fans say that they are the best of all times. So yes, they do.

Well I'm sure Wladimir is one of the best heavies of all time. Very and I mean very few fighters can hang with him in the ring. Dominant champion and a brilliant athlete. So I could argue he is atg which he probably is. But not vitali maybe top 15 or top 20 but not top 10. Wlad sure top 10 heavy.

Yes but what you don't realise is you are the one that lit the spark you in a sense called out the klitschko fans by making some bizarre ass statement. Of course they aren't gods they are human like me and you.

See. This is the argument that really gets to me. You say Wladimir is one of the best heavies of all times. What do you base that on? Who did he beat to make you claim such a powerful statement? What's his best win would you say? Haye? Byrd? - Who's was Byrd's best win? David Tua? Haye's best win? Valuev? None of these guys can make you say Wlad's the GOAT when they would be nothing but average in other eras.

This is a not a criticism of Wlad as per say, because he's indeed a great fighter who could probably hang with anyone. But I can't say for sure, because he didn't hang with everyone. He hung with a lot of bums and mediocre fighters and was KOd three times by mediocre fighters.

Tbh you ask this same questjon time and time again..... Just me personally and you, have had this discussion/debate quite a few times in the past few months or so. Without even getting deep into this....one can make the case Wlads size ALONE would make him at least somewhat competitive in any era. How could you disagree with that?

Ok for arguments sake please in your book define an ATG not as in P4P ATG but heavy ATG. Because personally I don't believe in mythical P4P rankings especially when historians make fighters with zero footage and just like a painting of them fighting Lol and say they were this that and the other. Anyway I'm side tracking so please define a heavy ATG what does it take?
