Ward-Stevenson shouldn't happen at 168 regardless if Stevenson wants it at that weight. Just like Ward-Dawson, Ward will no credit if he beats Stevenson at 168 even though Stevenson has no problem with that weight.

This. Dawson and Ward are two completely different class of fighters. If I was Ward, I'd tell them I was willing to take a one-fight deal. There will be no need for a second. Ward will thoroughly dominate Stevenson, with or without his big punch.

Yep, Froch was afraid of him, so instead Carl chose to go for the 3rd ranked Super-middleweight, who held a title, and was the man to inflict Carl's first defeat.
