While I'm "explicitly" says that I believe that it happens after Mayweather DUCKED Pacquiao. Why include the entire sports? Ahh, you might want to insinuate that your lil idol is 'boxing', aren't you?

All the Pac > Mayweather jive started after that fight.

How do we know Floyd didn't ruin Hatton?

Oh, because he beat Paulie "the HARLEM HAMMER" Malinaggi after the Mayweather fight.
Well let me ask u this then, do u honestly think Floyd ruin hatton? And nobody is trying to discredit Floyd's skills, but lets be honest pac's win was just more impressive to the boxing fans and the casual fans that's why they went crazy over it. To really appreciate Floyd's style u have to understand the concept of boxing and to be honest most causal fans don't understand it or dont care about it when they pay for a fight they're expecting to see 2 guys duke it out which brings me back to why there was more talk about PACs win over hatton compare to Floyd.

I honestly do feel Floyd ruined Hatton. Hatton was undefeated going into the fight with Floyd. Haters like Brian Kenny from ESPN had been lambasting Floyd for months and accusing him of ducking Hatton.

Mayweather beat Hatton to the ground and he was never the same after that fight.

Kostya Tsyzu arguably is a bigger puncher than Manny Pacquiao. He couldn't put a dent in Hatton's chin.

Yet after Mayweather KO's Hatton, he fights four more times after that (ko'd twice) and retires. The proof is there.

I do agree with you that to appreciate Floyd's style, you have to be a fan of the sweet science of boxing. You have to appreciate head movement, defense, jabs, subtlety, etc...

The average fan wants to see Toughman Competitions. Even the UFC has become to sophisticated for them.

          • ^^^ Floyd may have broken hatton's spirit a little but I don't think hatton was punish to where he'll be consider damage good. Floyd just outclass hatton but to say he damage hatton is reaching bro. I'm not gonna get into who's the bigger puncher but with the shot hatton took from PAC it would have ko Anyone. The punch was brutal and to make it worst hatton never saw it coming. I'm not here to say who ruin hatton more but u have to be blind to think that ko from PAC had no effect on hatton, I mean the dude turn into a coke addict and almost committed suicide, hatton even said it in an interview that he took the PAC lost real hard.

              Thank you.
What makes you think that I would do that? FYI, I disagree with 'check_hooks' as much I disagree with you. Nobody's "wearing pants" in this fight but SHO & GBP.

Apparently, it was the time (when Pacquiao KO hatton cold in 6 min. mark) lil floyd's balls sunk so sudden to his throat to fight Pacquiao.

Seeing a guy that was giving him a hard time (actually made him turn his back and slip his head outside the ring just to keep himself from getting hit by haymakers before he was able to score a KO in the latter rounds) being KOed cold in the early rounds was quite an traumatic experience for lil floyd.
