Broner will smother Maidana's punches much like Alexander, and Broner's technique; shorter punches, quicker hands and power in close would be too much for Maidana to handle. I see Broner landing vicious shots to the body as well.

We don't know if Broner has power at 147. At all.

Alexander fight IMO should not even be looked at. If a boxer is allowed to hold 15-20+ times a rd against a pressure fighter, then the boxer will always win.

Tough fight for maidana broners speed, power and combination punching would trouble maidana BUT theres a big difference in eloy perez/gavin rees right hands and maidana right hands, I want to see how broner takes chinos power.

Broner would make Maidana his bit.ch. Not even close. Paulie is much better than Maidana.

I think I can safely say he hits harder than Morales and Alexander, two fighters who had Maidana stunned and hurt multiple times. Maidana ain't that well schooled inside, and a lot of that was simply two fighters getting tangled, although I admit Alexander did clinch a lot. My thing is this, clinching didn't stop Matthysse from going to work against Alexander, clinching did not stop Guerrero from going to work against Berto. Maidana has to be held accountable for that as well.

I would love it if maidana layed him out with one of his looping overhands knocking broner through the ropes into the arms of his crying entourage

I still think its only a matter of time before broner gets knocked out. Not sure if maidana can do it, but someone wil.

I agree that maidana should have done better, he was awful and didn't look bothered during the fight.

But i re watched Lucas vs Devon a few weeks ago and Devon Clinched a lot less in that fight, He held sometimes but a lot of the times he just moved away or threw jabs. Vs Maidana almost every time Marcos got close he grabbed.

I think squaring up, head hunting and not setting up his attack is what allowed Alexander to get away with it. Look at all the opportunities he could have had, had he looped the right hand to the mid section or thrown the left hook to the body...

I think things would have been different with Robert Garcia, he may have not won but he would have had more success.

I'd favor Broner but in a good fight. AB is not devon alexander. I say that cuz devon hits and grabs immediately! Fights like a b1tch. AB gonna stand there and ****. He will move his head and body of course but he fights more like a man and for that reason Maidana can have some success.
