Santa Cruz breaks him down and stops him mid-to-late rounds, not convinced with Frampton against a pressure fighter after being battered by an old Kiko Martinez.

        He's 27

But yeah the Kiko fight did show some flaws on Framptons game but Kiko is a good fighter.

Well as if Im gonna value the opinion of someone with Santa Cruz in their Sig.
Frampton battered by KiKo? Framps won every round bar the round KiKo land them Bombs and you'd be hard pressed to find another 122 fighter who wouldn't have went down. Kiko old? He's 28

where do you guys get this stuff?

Frampton didn't win every round at all.

I did have Frampton ahead but it was a competitive fight.

I think you might be underestimating Kiko.

Frampton is actually tested as to where Santa Cruz isn't. I think two fights ago he showed a lot of vulnerabilities when someone is able to take his punch. Something I think Frampton can do.

He's a good fighter at a certain level and to me, looked a little shop worn. I'm not underestimating Kiko at all, I've seen a few of his fights. Santa Cruz has been tested, he just hasn't struggled with anyone.

Do you know what the irony is?

I'm a Santa Cruz fan, visibly so. TS is a Frampton fan, not so visible. Seems like you had your rose-tinted glasses on for his fight against Martinez, at least be realistic. I may be a fan of fighters but I never let my bias intervene.

I'm as big of a Frampton fan as any but even I had the Martinez fight a draw going into the 9th. That was both watching it while at the fight and then a re-run of it the next morning.

As for Frampton vs. Santa Cruz, I think Santa Cruz would win in a close fight. Would be an exciting one for sure as Frampton has showed his willingness to take a shot in order to get his own in at times.
