Mexicans have the well-earned reputation of coming to fights with everything and letting it all hang out; seldom do you find in their ranks pugs who fight like a Sugar Ray Leonard, Pernell, PBF, WBenitez (who is from Puerto Rico and not Mexican), prime Roy Jones, Jr....

It's such a marvel that so many of them rack up half-century- fight- tallies in their careers with KOs and KDs scantly blemishing their records.

Of course there are many steel-chinned fighters from other nationalities--Gatti used to take so much-- but in general terms, I think the Mexicans have it.

And, yes, Asians aren't too bad. All you have to do is watch a handful of Muay Thai (Thai Kick Boxing) fights in ****kok to see that.

I don't know. I'm watching this fight on FNF and the Asian guy is getting hit with hard shots and hasn't gone down. Kostya hasn't been down against big punchers. David Tua also never went down from what I've seen. Pac was beaten up by Morales but never went down.

I personally think it has something to do with their calves. They have pretty big calves for their sizes.
