His career was going fine until he got injured before the Alexander fight. Now he has to start again. You can't just expect to get a big name at such short notice. You really think Guerrero is going to come off fighting Mayweather on PPV to fight Brook in Hull at short notice?

You don't seem to understand the business

I understand business just fine,I also understand when I see a very unproven fighter who's had more then enough time to earn respect and his ranking in the fight game..As of this moment he's done nothing..Once again this it's the point..

That still doesn't change the fact that they couldn't get a big name for this fight which makes your first post a pile of ****e. Which is my point.

Ok....your second post then. Don't get pedantic.

Yeah but they couldn't get a big name for this fight. It just wasn't feasible. Carson Jones is actually a decent name for this fight. It's a fight that Brook struggled with and he has the chance to put that beyond doubt. Otherwise it would have been a complete no name. I don't know why you don't get that.

Rome-By-Ko, i know you are going by the Ring magazine WW rankings but in no real universe is Brook the Number 3 WW. There's plenty of fighters out there who are better or have at least beat better fighters than he has.

Brook would struggle to get in my top 10, number 10 at a push maybe.

              3. Pac Man
              4. Robert Guerrero
              5. Devon Alexander
              6. Paulie/Broner
              7. Maidana
              8. Ruslan Provodnikov
              9. Keith Thurman
              10.Luis Carlos Abregu/Berto/Ortiz/Brook/Chris van Heerden

                Lol, Brook number 3 WW?

Absolute nonsense. He hasn't done anything, ANYTHING. And there are plenty of more impressive looking contenders who look way better than Brook.

I think both Chaves and Thurman would KO Brook. See? Two WWs taking risks, trying to make names for themselves.

Whenever an opportunity presents itself for Brook he ducks it. The most pathetic thing is, he said he wants Purdy if Alexander loses to him. That proves he's a Mike Jones kinda ducker, he'll keep ducking till a soft champ can be targeted. Basically, he's the worst kind of fighter.

                This fight? Yawn.

****, Bradley easily makes the top 5. Sorry Ha. I honestly thought i put him in 4th but i made a typo i guess.

I guess take out Paulie/Broner and put Bradley in (4th), winner of Paulie/Broner makes the top 10 after the fight.
