Do you know what a hypejob is? Someone unproven who was created from pure hype. Someone spoonfed. Lucas has paid his dues and has earned every piece of hype he gets.

I could see Danny landing something big early and knocking Lucas out. Dannys probably more sound of a boxer than Lucas. And Dannys capable of catching Lucas coming in. But I cant see Danny matching Lucas blow for blow over 12 rounds.

If Matthysse is to be exposed in any way it wont be by frikkin Danny Garcia he is a B fighter across the Board in terms of Power,movement,defense etc he does everything just well. Matthysse Got some B's and even a C in there But he does have an A+ in knock you the fk out and i think we could see it in this fight because Garcia is there to be hit.

Alexander proved that Matthysse doesnt have any back up plan. He is far too one dimensional and if he can't flatten the guy he is screwed.

Actually you are not the first to say this or the first to call Matthysse a hypejob. I am wondering how many top 10 140 pounders does Lucas have to KO in a row before some guys on here quit calling him a hypejob? I guess this"hypejob" has everybody fooled because almost every organization that ranks fighters have him as the #1 140 pounder in the world. Ring has Garcia the champ and Lucas as his #1 challenger. Boxing Scene has him #1 as does Boxrec and the WBC. I guess they don't think he is a hypejob and they do think he is the real deal. I think he will KO Garcia in 5 rounds or less and I'll bet on it if Garcia ever signs the contract to fight him.

As much as I've been enjoying Garcia's matches lately, I think he just doesn't have enough to beat Lucas. Lucas might be wild and open often but he does land, and Danny can be tagged rather easily. The fight will be easy to figure out the minute Lucas connects and how Danny reacts. If he can't take the punch, simple. It'll be easy work for Lucas. If he can take, then Lucas may be in for a long night.

Honestly, I can't picture that many fighters at 140lbs that can take Lucas power. It's frightening brutal.
