I still think Matthysse gets up, pulls him out of the car and beats the siht out of him.

Keep it in the middle of the ring and BOX HIM! Much like Danny did with Zab the first half of their fight, much like Zab did against Matthysse during the early parts of their fight. You get in serious trouble when you start backing up against Matthysse giving him even more room to get off with his Power and especially when you corner yourself and start to lean on the ropes that is really when he swarms with his Power. Stay in the pocket and try to smother his Power and don't be too proud to clinch when you need to do so, you have to make the fight STRATEGICALLY BORING!

Matthysse is a BEAST absolutely but the man is not "UNBEATABLE" by any stretch, he can be out-boxed but I am not sure if anybody at 140 at the moment is skilled enough to out-box him for 12 Rounds and be able to avoid taking his Power CLEANLY. Danny Garcia looked like he had some Stamina issues against Zab and got sloppy the second half of their fight. He does that against Matthysse he gets knocked out late

You're right. Matthysse is affraid of Danny's scary power. Danny has 26 wins, 16 by KO, that's some scary siht. Matthysse has a punny 34Wins, 32 by KO. He KOed his last six opponents, in average before round 5. You're right man, Danny's power punch..
sorry dude, I cant even joke about it.

Got it. Of course everyone can be beaten, and you're right, trying to go punch for punch against the guy is suicide, there's no harder puncher in 140 or 147. but you're talking about pulling the perfect fight, which is what B Hopkins said. Matthysse is at his best. He can box better than before, he starts fast which he didnt used to before, he's got tremendous confidence and has that KO power, both hands. He can put you down with body shots or even poorly landed shots to the head. Garcia isnt exactly a technical boxer, he's more of a browler. He's got a nice left hook, but Matthysse is no Khan, he can take a beating and come back for more, he has an iron chin as seen in several of his fights. You saw him trade hooks with Peterson, we all saw what happened. Ajose's fight was brutal, still he never went down.
Danny pulling the perfect fight, moving around and fighting on his back feet while avoiding getting nailed to the canvas for all 12 rounds. I dont see it happening.

Listen up brah this is real talk.

Danny doesn't need to fight the perfect fight because Matthysse is so limited. Judah and Alexander made him look like a punk for most of the fight and neither has the power like Danny.

Matthysse will press the action and Danny will outbox and outthink him then after eating some bombs I predict Matthysse either goes into survival mode or gets crippled.

              • LOL some really good posters got owned pretty bad in this thread. This fight had 50/50 all over it and the fighter who always adjust to his opponents (Garcia) won.

This is the reason why i didn't even bet on this fight.
