Comments Thread For: Guerrero Dares Victor Ortiz To Have Haymon Make Fight

Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero (31-2-1, 18KOs) sent several text messages to Victor Ortiz (29-4-2, 22KOs), challenging his Golden Boy stablemate to a welterweight showdown in the fall.

Guerrero asked Ortiz to have his manager, Al Haymon, put the wheels in motion. At a recent Showtime photo shoot, Ortiz advised Guerrero that he signed a managerial agreement with Haymon. Two additional sources have also told BoxingScene.com that Ortiz advised them as well of the new deal with Haymon.

There has been some talk about Ortiz facing former three division champion Shane Mosley in the fall. Guerrero is not a fan of the match. [Click Here To Read More]

This is a great match if if happens. Can't hate on Ortiz he is exciting because you don't know what random **** he will do. Guerrero needs a good bounce back fight as well

Forget Ortiz. Guerrerro should fight Maidana next. That would prove that he belongs at the top of the welterweight class. Beating Ortiz would only prove that he is capable of beating a journeyman.
