that's what I say,if angulo landed those very slow, wide punches on him, what would some top guy who isn't shot and actually has good stamina would do,look at the first round, look at how painfully slow he is and how wide his punches start, actually perro looks physically awful too,his body looks weak compared to what he looked like when he fought several years ago,it seems like he even struggles to walk now, totally shot fighterComment

Power punched landed? What was that percentage? Because Perro isn't exactly a guy who throw jabs.Comment

Angulo's heavy-handed, so it's no surprise a couple of the few punches he landed to the head knocked Lara down. But it's clear that Landy has good defense.Comment

He looked as good as can be expected against Lara. Alfredo was obviously motivated and well-conditioned. I've said it before: the Angulo that showed up Saturday night would be tough for almost anyone in the division.Comment

But getting stunned and getting hurt and dropped are two diffrent things. Lara is a good boxer but come on I love perro and all but the guy is limited in the skill department. Alfredo's a big puncher but the fact that he could land so many slow lumbering punchs on Lara exposed some serious defensive flaws in Erislandy!
Nothing about Lara's defense was exposed. The only thing that was exposed was his inside game which people already knew about. You can tell he's inexperienced in that department. He actually clinched a couple of times but instead of letting his free hand go he was just there waiting for the ref to break it up.
To his credit, sometimes he would use the shoulder bump to push Angulo off but not enough. He would also throw the right hook and spin out.
