Lara need to learn how to fight inside though and stay the *** off of the damn ropes! If he could fight inside in the middle of the ring that would really help him conserve his legs and stamina, he moves around a lot and he backs up a lot

You can be a good counter puncher IN THE POCKET, he got clipped and dropped twice while...BACKING UP! I understand want to be elusive and want to box but what Mayweather and Rigondeaux guys like that do is far more advanced and I am far more entertained watching them then guys who are SLOPPY BOXERS who just back up out of just fear and not out of STRATEGY!

Because a smarter fighter with more speed and Power and the footwork to cut the ring off will get Lara against the Ropes and pick him apart because all he does is stand right in front of his opponent and just cover up instead of rolling and ducking underneath punches and countering

not as delusional as lara's fans, those fans act like he just beat a very good fighter, like I said in a previous post,he beat angulo, angulo! not mayweather, not a top fighter but angulo, yet he got dropped and got hit a lot, wasn't an impressive win, even if lara would have won impressively it's still angulo, lol, thats right, slow,no defense, shot, punching bag angulo,a good fighter blasts a fighter with those weaknesses out, doesn't struggle, only an avg fighter will struggle against angulos weaknesses, which are a lot

That's just the mentality of some fighters. I don't believe Marquez gets cracked on the chin and then thinks "I gotta trade with this dude because a fan paid x amount for a ticket or a ppv". Some are just fan friendly and some are not.

I got nothing against either Angulo or Lara, they both fought a great fight and I was entertained. I enjoyed Lara's slickness and I enjoyed Angulo's grit and determination. They put on a great show but I don't believe they fought that way to entertain me. Its their job and they fight how they fight because its ingrained in them.

During the first KD, Lara got caught with a left hook while throwing his own uppercut. The second one was when he spun out of the inside with his hands down. The second KD was more ******ity/fatigue. If he used his stamina more effectively, he wouldn't have to get defensively irresponsible.

I hate to get into these discussions, but I feel like I have to make an observation. Angulo was never stunned. He was caught by a couple of shots and momentarily stopped in his tracks, and even thrown slightly off-balance from the force. "Stunned" is when you see a fighter freeze for a moment, like there's been a momentary disconnect to the brain. It’s not enough to make a man go down, but enough to make him vulnerable to unanswered follow-up shots. You can see it in someone's face. That never happened with Alfredo. However, you can bet "Perro" felt Lara's power. Landy hits plenty hard.

of course he's not going to think I want to get hit so fans get their money's worth, but I do think he wants to make the fight exciting by being aggressive at moments, and he's said this before, you have to take chances by throwing punches and not just slapping and running,i can't picture marquez pulling a mike jones, gamboa type of performance,no way, thats the difference right there,a lot of fighters with skills who are entertaining now and in the past,i appreciate skills but not running and slapping and headbutting,i appreciate broner,i appreciate marquez, jones when he was young, when Tyson was in his early twenties he was very excinting but had good head movement, slipped punches well, gave fans their money's worth

So nobody else saw how crappy Erislandy's defense actually is???? If Angulo can land that many slow wide lumbering punches what do you think a younger more athletic fighter is gonna do if they just put a little pressure on Lara.

that's what I say,if angulo landed those very slow, wide punches on him, what would some top guy who isn't shot and actually has good stamina would do,look at the first round, look at how painfully slow he is and how wide his punches start, actually perro looks physically awful too,his body looks weak compared to what he looked like when he fought several years ago,it seems like he even struggles to walk now, totally shot fighter
