The Titan That Never Was

When I looked at that photo it evoked many thoughts and memories of what I think was an amazing but ultimately and finally a reluctant champion. He wanted the glare and glitz of fame but had no ability to shoulder it emotionally. When I look at Rid**** Bowe I see inherent weakness, lack of discipline and a drastic inability to understand the power of being a heavyweight champion.

On paper he had almost limitless potential, but in reality he was just a kid in a man's world. He isn't so much a tragedy as he is an individual that couldn't shoulder the load of his life.

It's hard to believe he was actually HW champ of the world once. And he looks older than 45 today. Hopefully the Russian fighter doesn't hurt him badly.
