Kirkland's career has completely stagnated. I'd rather see an active and hungry fighter like Rosado get the fight.

Kirkland has power, but has shown to be chinny. He's also been out of the ring for over a year and it seems like he's not with Anne Wolfe anymore. I would not have any faith in him being competitive with Lara. He beat Angulo and then got out-boxed by Molina. He needs a tune-up before fighting Lara imo.

Mayweather is in a league of his own. Lara is in there with Cotto, Alvarez and Trout. Erislandy could beat, or lose to, any one of those guys. Rosado can't be mentioned in the same breath as any of the above. That doesn't mean Gabe can't make for a fun fight, or even a competitive fight with those guys, but he couldn't conceivably be favored over any of them. Rosado is a solid pro, not much more.
