Would Gatti's Career been different if he had started off with Buddy Mcgirt

Would it of been alot better for him if Mcgirt was his trainer from the begining?

maybe he would've developed a different style, maybe even SOME skill. I don't think it matters THAT much who his trainer is/was as long as it is a real trainer. except Kevin Rooney. Rooney would've insisted on him using the Peek-a-boo style. Which hey, that might have been an ideal style for Gatti.

I think it could have been he has showed at times he can box well although he is usually fighting an average fighter when he does so............No matter if god trained him I think he still would have lost to DLH and PBF but he probably would have only a handful of losses rather than 8 or whatever he has now.

buddy has an old school style that would have made Gatti a much better fighter. comes from an old school gym that made him that way.

No way Gatti wouldve been better. You guys act like Gatti has been so great with his new style. He fought one good fighter and got dominated. He lost once to a average fighter in Ward and even though he has won most of his fights with McGirt, he still hasnt been dominant and looked kind of ****ty alot of times. I actually think he wouldve lost more fights with McGirt and he will continue to lose against better fighters unless he dumps him and goes back to his old style.

You guys act like he looks good at boxing. He boxes like ****. Dude is so uncoordinated. It only works against C level fighters. He is much better as a brawler

I think if he would of came out and just tried to brawl with Mayweather, he would have looked better. Granted he would have gotten KTFO anyways. I dont care for how him and Buddy think they can outbox guys now.

                    somebody missed the point...

if Gatti had a different style his whole career maybe he would've been better. for one, he'd have been used to that style. It wouldn't matter against Mayweather, of course, but Gatti could've been better than he was had he adopted a more technical style.
