It is a tough one, I would go with Kovalev, because to me, he fights more composed. I still do not think Stevenson is championship caliber material. He can really punch though and his confidence will soar after this fight. I guess it comes down to whoever lands first.

It would be a safe bet the fight would end in a KO.

Yeah and I would probably bet on Kovalev. I said before the fight that Adonis is really no more than a fringe contender with a big punch. Even though he is now the champion, I still do not see him as one. I actually expect opponents to beg to get in the ring with him.

There is an old saying that winning the title can make a fighter 25% better than the day before. He better hope it happens to him or his reign will not last very long!lOL

I picked Campillo to beat Kovalev. I will not make that mistake again, Kovalev by stoppage.

Kovalev. He's boxings best kept secret, I think he beats anyone at 175. His chin hasn't been tested much but there's no way Adonis' chin holds up In this fight IMO.

This will never happen though. Kovalev is going to have to force his way to a title shot through the rankings. He's next in line as an IBF mandatory if he beats white. It would be awesome if Adonis' team gave him that shot though. I know HBO said they're interested in a Kovalev title shot later this year, so we'll see.

I voted Kovalev by T/KO, but my official pick as of today is Adonis Stevenson by T/KO.

This is one of the more notable potential match-ups in boxing right now. Hopefully the matchmakers don't let this one marinate too long.
