It had to do with Dawson fighting a young fighter,whenever he fights a young fighter he does not look impressive or he loses..I've said this for a long time,Dawson earned his name beating on older fighters who could not use their legs to get inside quick on Dawson..Young fighters(esp Athletic fighters)will always give Dawson trouble,they don't give him time to think..

Side note:did anybody catch 50 cents laughing..He looked funny as hell..

He did not move down in weight when Pascal was rocking his head off..

He was fighting at lt. heavy. Weight wasn't an issue. If anything, getting knocked out in his last fight affected Dawson more than weight.

He got hit on the head. Stevenson is no fly, he's big puncher (18 KOs in 21 wins)

No one has gone the distance with Stevenson since 2007 (and that was only 10 rounds).

Ok so maybe that punch even hurts a 2008 Dawson. Doesn't change the fact that he's completely washed and will be knocked out any time he fights a top 10 fighter.
