This fight was brutal. Angulos bldy work was brutal and Lara was landing vicious headshots. No luck here just two men who wante it badly and prepared..clearly..for war. So impresse by both their abilities to keep going. No often you see a guy absorb what both did and keep going...especially Lara taking so many body blows by a BIGGER man

i'm talking about angulo making it a closer fight than expected,lara was supposed to dominate a fighter with no defense,very slow and no movement at all,just a punching bag is what angulo is,and yet this very limited fighter gave lara a tough fight,dropped him,this tells me a supposedly good fighter isn't what people say he is,great fighters are supposed to dominate guys with all those weaknesses that angulo has..i don't think lara is as good as people think

There's a lot of truth in what you're saying. Lara should've dominated tonight, but he impressed in other areas. I've been a critic of his in the past, and I continue to think he's not as awesome as some say, but Landy showed amazing will and resourcefulness tonight. You can't teach the balls Lara had on display. That is the heart of a champion, my friend. It can never be underestimated.

Angulo is a good opponent for a non title holder like Lara not for a champion. If Angulo would've hit Canelo on the chin like he did Lara tonight he wouldve KOed him.

you better believe it,,i read it too where some said angulo was shot when mentioned as a possible opponent for canelo,,,I think lara fans breathed a sigh of relief when angulo got hurt and the fight ended,i expected lara to hit angulo like he did,jab than left,that I expected,who doesn't hit angulo?? so it shouldn't surprise anyone,what should be shocking is how a shot fighter made it a close fight with a supposedly good figher and to some even the best at 154(going too far) and to think someone here just said lara should be considered a pound for pound after this fight is even funnier,,,if anything it should make him go down in the rankings for letting a punching bag make it a close fight
