Why does most fans on this forum hate on the two best fighters in the world Mayweather and Ward. Everyone is always trying to hype up someone, anyone to beat these guys. Not long ago when Stevenson was the mandatory for Froch everyone on here was dismissing and questioning his skill, his worthiness of getting a shot against Froch but the same people are clamoring for a fight with Ward. He wasn't good enough to face Froch but now is good enough to face Ward, Oh really!! If Ward and Mayweather aren't your favorite fighters, fine, just respect their skills and respect the sport of boxing.

People he dropped 7 pounds for one fight, to me sounds ridiculous for you guys to think that ruined him, he got caught cold it happens. Even if dropping weight had an affect in him maybe only for the ward fight, will not affect his future at all IMO.

Going down in weight isn't healthy - you can lose essential muscle. Remember what happened to Roy Jones and Chris Byrd.

that's not necessarily because they went down in weight. In jones case it was the first fight where he suffered and in Birds he fought a guy who punches as hard as a heavyweight but twice as fast. plus he was already done anyway

these guys go up and down in weight all the time anyway without even leaving there weight class

Dawson is done for it;draining himself to go fight Ward is something that may have ended his career.I`d like to see Stevenson fight Hopkins next;Hopkins may be undisputed lightheavyweight champ by next year.
