Dawson is learning the Roy Jones Jr lesson of not dropping down in weight! Good for him though, he complains too much and never admits to being beat without some kida excuse behind it. Anyhow, watchin Lara and Angulo, great fight so far!! Anyone else watchin! Can't wait for Maidana though!!!!!!

Was checking the two simultaeously. Definitely Lara vs Angulo was a all-out war! I'm surprised it finished the way it did, but if a boxer say it hurt, it most hurt as hell! Broken Orbital bone ain't no slush. Hope for fast recovery and possibly a rematch. Maidane vs Lopez woulb be a VERY active fight!

In the pre-fight presser Dawson said "This is a fight set up to make me look good". At that point I knew he could lose because when someone says that, they have under-estimated their opposition. Bradley said the same thing before the Provodnikov fight and we see what happened there.

Stevenson knocked him senseless in less than two minutes. Dawson went down harder than Peterson did against Matthysse.

Didn't expect this ending, but in a way I'm not surprised. Dawson has so much talent, yet he goes blank at times, makes either bad decisions or no decisions, and at this level it's really costing him. An excellent boxer loses to a one-dimensional puncher.... means the boxer wasn't thinking. Would like to see a rematch before I pass final judgement though.
