Eh, I stopped scoring after the 6th, but I could see this as a win for Perez. I don't ever want to see him on TV again if this is how he fights against an elite fighter. I think Gamboa would look better against better opposition.

Gamboa went from looking good in the first few rounds to looking like garbage the rest of the fight. He'll probably get the decision but he messed up going to 135 and leaving Arum. He's going down the path of wasted talent from the looks of it.

Who didn't predict this, like I said a long time ago, Gamboa doesn't have the size for LW, Vazuqez, Abril and Burns kill him. Now move down to 130, mad exciting fights for him there or a brighter future.

Gamboa was way faster and better than Perez. Perez was only counter punching, only waiting for Gamboa to punch. And Perez threw basically zero combinations, just the single counter. But Gamboa never used his higher class to punish Perez or try to Ko and hurt him.

It was just a horrible fight with Gamboa dancing around and Perez barely throwing punches. I hate Gamboa, they way he fought is unforgivable.

Sounds like it was a boring fight, add Charlo/Hopkins to the list.

Not even sure it's the weight, he just doesn't seem to know how to best apply his tools and gets disinterested when his opponent takes his power and speed.
