Matthysse is not unbeatable. There are 3 or 4 guys that can take him out. I cant wait till Garcia beats this dude up. This hero worship is unhealthy.

If there were any shenanigans going on Matthysse would have let us know, I say that because we got a large amount of people questioning Garcia's bravado. With that being considered, it's gonna happen.

We have not heard one word from garcia about this fight. I don't think it happens and if it doesn't no one will respect him. Only other opponnent i can think of for matthysse is alvarado and he won't be back til early 2014. For danny there's literally no other fight out there, he has no excuse. They need to force this fight whether he likes it or not.

Alvarado's with Top Rank and they wouldn't feed him to a GBP guy when they could save him for their own fighters. I seem to recall that Provodnikov actually belongs to another company despite fighting Top Rank guys all the time, but it sounds like he's fighting Alvarado anyway. There's literally no-one out there for Garcia, it would have to be something ridiculous like Allakhverdiev or something

Now that Khan is going to be fighting Alexander despite telling us that he was inked in to fight the winner of the LWW "Tournament the motivation for making Mattysse Garcia has taken a knock. They are both Al Haymon fighters and both have proven that they are the top LWWs with their reputations in tact. Garcia can move up and face the Khan Alexander winner and Mattysse can dominate at LWW. That way they are both winners but if they fight the loser drops right down.

I voted the fight will be made. It sounds like they will fight on September 7. Khan was never an important part of the tournament anyway. Most people considered the Garcia-Matthysse winner to be the tournament winner and the winner of that fight KOing Khan would be just a formality. If Garcia does not fight Matthysse for any reason he looks like a chicken. Matthysse signed with Hayman partly to get the Garcia fight. If Haymon does not get that fight for him he will rightfully be disgusted with Haymon unless it's a case of Garcia not taking the fight in spite of Haymon.

I saw Rafael say on his chat that shafear said "he was still optimistic of getting it done", so by those words it def. doesnt look like a for sure thing by any means

Schaefer recently said that the fight got 90% chance of happening. Don't know what the 10% is all about. But I do think it will happen. They're taking fans' criticisms seriously now. Almost seems like Schafer is a regular visitor of this site.
