  • Poll. Mattysse Garcia. Is it going to happen?

Now that Khan is going to be fighting Alexander despite telling us that he was inked in to fight the winner of the LWW "Tournament the motivation for making Mattysse Garcia has taken a knock. They are both Al Haymon fighters and both have proven that they are the top LWWs with their reputations in tact. Garcia can move up and face the Khan Alexander winner and Mattysse can dominate at LWW. That way they are both winners but if they fight the loser drops right down.

It would be a shameful duck for Garcia, and Matthysse said many times that he signed with Haymon becuase he was promissed that he would make the fight happen. I dont know man. I thought it was a done deal but the Garcia camp has been awfully quiet, none of the usual trash talk, nothing has been signed and the 7th of Sept. isnt that far away so I just dont know. As of now what is obivous is that Garcia doesnt want this fight any more than he wants to get hit by a bus.

It'd be one of the most downright blatantly disgusting duck if Danny Garcia slithers his way out of it. I think that's what he's going to do.

Was going to say this, although it's career suicide if he turns the fight down IMO.

I think danny knows that there is a strong chance that he will get laid out flat on the canvas and his carrere will decline from thee if he fight Lucas.

Lucas on the other hand has loses and has nothing to lose

But it is to me it is a dream match up and , and by **** it should happen

Ducking this fights says a few things. First, that Danny accepts he has no chance in hell of beating the guy. He was there in the Matthysse Peterson fight, Matthysse still with his gloves on pointed at him and told him he's next, obviously all promoters involved had dollar signs on their eyes thinking of the money that could be made. Everyone but Garcia benefits from this fight. Ducking this fight also means that Danny just has no balls. Even if an underdog a boxer should fight, especially a world champion. Danny want to avoid an outcome like Ortiz when he gave up during the Maidana fight. Compared to that, ducking is a safer alternative.
On one had it would be funny to see Danny getting trash talked like a bitvh for ducking the fight, but that pales in comparison to actually seeing him get KO. Himself and his fool ballhuggers will say he never lost a fight, and a few months down the road they'll start trash talking that Danny would have beaten Matthysse and what not. Floyd Mayweather has shown us all that ducking and cherry picking works! It works like nothing else in boxing.
At the end of the day, given how ****** and short minded people are in general, Matthysse clearly gets screwed if Danny ducks. Thinking a bit better about it, yes, I see Danny ducking this one bacause at the end of the day he wins the most by doing just that.

Actually, I think the fight is more likely to be made than not now, for the simple reason that Alexander-Khan, Paulie-Broner and Floyd-Canelo getting made leaves Garcia and Matthysse with no real dance partners at the GBP hodown. If Garcia did duck him, it would be pretty terrible.

Al Hayman must have a lot of say in this. He must be motivated to keep both fighters on a winning streak and that can't happen if they fight each other. Garcia beats every other LWW and is big at the weight and would beat the Alexander Khan winner. He must have his eye on that fight. Part of the deal with the LWW Tournament was the big pay day fight with Khan for the winner but that is now gone.
I just don't see it working out business wise now. Garcia is better off sitting it out and trying to fight the Khan Alexander winner and Mattysse can get easier fights and that must suit Al Hayman.

if he ducks matthysse it'd be best if he retired at the tender young age of 25. his pride is on the line with this one. he's got no where else to go. everyone else is tied up.
