Dude, you ain't kidding. I already see it all over the headlines after the fight. The sad part is that it's true. I don't know where people got the idea of pitting Canelo with Mayweather when there are SO many names Canelo could be fighting first to establish himself and get the experience under his belt before he gets schooled by 'ole Mayweather.

I'm telling you, this fight will be worst than the Cotto/Mayweather fight. He will gas out around the 8th and Mayweather is going to potshot his way to a Victory.

Although, I must say that Canelo's confidence on beating Mayweather makes me wonder what it is that is making him so optimistic about the Victory.

did you just call PAC a "slick" fighter? LMAO wasnt so slick last time out when Marquez put his ass to sleep was he?hahahaha what a clown. just like every other floyd hater. Martinez fights at 160, and cuts down to that. floyd walks around at no more than 150, 151 lbs. why would he take a fight like that you idiot.

Do you even watch boxing? Just cause Martinez calls out Floyd he's ducking him? Has Martinez ever really try and make the fight or does he says Floyd name but continues to book middleweight fighters. Martinez can't offer **** to Floyd anyway...he's gotta except what's being offered to him.Martinez is done anyways fighting at an elite level. You need a new guy to hype up.

Etc, etc, etc. The reality is, he was being moderately successful against Floyd in the first third of the fight working behind a jab and roughing Floyd up. The fight turned completely around in the 5th when Floyd landed a beautiful counter right over the top of a DLH jab that buckled and nearly dropped Oscar. And from that point on, Oscar no longer wanted to throw his jab and at that point became content letting Floyd pot shot him from a safe distance.

but when Manny vs Oscar comes up, Floyd fans say that "Roach said that Oscar can't pull the trigger anymore"

                  but

that was discovered when Oscar's coach Roach witnessed it when he fought Floyd!

Every time Dela Hoya talks about the Mayweather fight he has a different excuse. Either it was his age, gassing out, stopped using the jab, unfocused, demons, etc... I thought he was better than that. He has more excuses than Donaire. It's time for him to let go.

Lederman is going by what kind of experience Canelo will bring with him and what Oscar had as experience at the time of the fight. Obviously, Oscar was far more experienced BUT unfortunately was an out of prime part time fight by then.

Canelo is on the upswing but Lederman is correct in saying that he will be a relatively inexperienced fighter come September. There are several flaws that stick out like a soar thumb. Can Canelo fix them "enough" to beat Floyd? Not likely ....
