Since DAY 1, I like how Manny accepted more than the commission rules then accepted a request that didn't even have any cutoff dates yet until this day, many Floyd fans say that Manny disagreed with extra testing.

By the way, go back and check that poll that was made a while back "Should Manny accept 14 days cutoff just to get the fight on." Most Floyd and Manny fans said yes. By saying what you just did, you are not giving credit to the majority and are focusing on the minority in which you will ALWAYS find just to make your point. In this case, it was a real minority.

Also, after that poll, Floyd took off the table those cutoff dates. Most Floyd fans forgot about that poll and agreed with Floyd. In other words, better to agree with whatever Floyd says than "want to get this fight on".

JMM had an admitted PEDS cheater in his camp. When JMM started looking the way he did, many people were questioning his looks including Roach ..... BUT the contract was already signed and there were barely 3 weeks left until the fight. Even if they all agreed, it would take time to get that all settled, right? So by the time they would be doing their first test, it would be close to fight time. In any case, Marquez would have already finished his "heavy" training and if he did take PEDs, he would probably already start thinking about cycle off of them as he would still need to pass the test after the fight.

These things had to get agreed and discussed prior to signing the contract. Anything after that is just TALK!!!

If Manny vs FLoyd was on: I could imagine what would have happened if Floyd would have found out during training camp that the trainer that Manny just got was an admitted PEDs cheat who said he knew of 20+ ways to mask his PEDs ..... Floyd would have either say "not fighting a cheat" or at the very least say "I got an injury so can't fight Manny"

At least, Manny fought Marquez .... Floyd never did even after Manny accepted.

But it was publicly known that Marquez was using Memos services before they even signed the contract? So why did Manny's team make a big deal out of it? And even funnier if you knew ahead of time that Memo had a bad history why not submit to testing. I mean how ****** can you be, you know that the other fighter might be cheating yet they still refuse testing and then he gets knocked the fck out. Smart

Why they didn't include testing is a good question. I would be concerned. perhaps they saw no real threat after seeing that Marquez didn't do that kind of damage after the 3rd fight. I'm sure they would have thought differently had Manny been knocked down in the 3rd fight ...

but in the 4th fight, Marquez looked bigger than the 3rd. So when people, including Manny's camp, saw that then that is when the concerns about "Heredia and PEDS" came back into focus. So probably that is the real reason why they didn't think it necessary beforehand. Like you said, it was probably a mistake on their part but .....

The worrisome part though is hearing someone be so confident that they can beat any current test .... and we all know that Heredia did have his athletes beat the test as they passed the OST. There are others that beat better tests than what we have in boxing. So I can see Heredia being able to do that (beat a test that is only used weeks before the fight).

He got caught and got away with it. Berto and Peterson got caught also. Did they do something? No. Their last fights didn't even have it.
