Nah he got up fine. That was a brual shot that not many at all could recover from, but he did. Only way Chino can be beat is outboxing him. Matts might try that, but in the end wont be able to resist trading. Aint nobody layin Maidana out.

    That's a great point

I'm a big fan of both, but we never saw Lucas against a brawler. Maidana at least fought Ortiz, which was btw his best performance ever. Lucas looks great against boxers but we never saw him against a heavy handed boxer.

getting dropped 3 times and winning because your opponent has no heart was his best performance?

Man if Arum had these guys in his stable he would have made truckloads of money. He would have made rematches, trilogies, quadrilogies... But protection is more important to Haymon and GBP.
You forgot to mention Alexander, Malignaggi and Guerrerro. All of them, along with the guys you mention are with Golden Boy. Also, I don't know what your are talking about when you mention Arum. With the exception of Broner, every one of these guys has fought someone on this list of has a fight scheduled with someone on this list. No one is being protected by anyone.

Over analyzing? Styles make fights.. Matts shines against boxers. Point to a fight where he looked impressive against a ko artist please. I'll wait.

and we'll see how the odds are once Chino annihilates Lopez and starts getting other good wins at 147.

Be careful man, Lopez might end up being Maidana's daddy too and not just Ortiz's.
