This type of talk just gets me more pumped up as a long time Hopkins fan.

His objective is clear. And he justifies pursuing that objective because of his "super perfect" discipline and credits that discipline as the reason for why he is still even here.

I look forward to a "boring" fight with Hopkins winning. That's the keyword: keep WINNING. That you're not entertained by a 48 year old is irrelevant to the big picture.

Moral lesson of the story if you're just starting to make a name in boxing is adapt the Hopkins style of fighting. Doesn't matter how boring your fights are as long as you keep winning. You may not reach the level of wealth the megastars have achieved but you'll be alright financially as long as you keep a disciplined lifestyle.
