  • Comments Thread For: Donaire is Ready For Any Opponent, Including Darchinyan

Former WBO, Ring Magazine and Diamond belt super bantamweight champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire won’t back down from any fighter Top Rank Promotions put in front of him, including two division world champion Vic Darchinyan who told BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard he’d love to get a rematch with Donaire who won by a 5th round knockout on July 7, 2007 to win the IBF/IBO flyweight titles.

Donaire who was at the Top Rank Gym on Thursday (Manila Time) for the first time since his stunning loss to former Cuban two-time Olympic gold medalist Guillermo Rigondeaux last April 13 at the Radio City Music Hall in New York told the Standard he began training and that his shoulder was “much better and I feel great.”

Lol he sure as hell tried real hard to back down from that Rigo fight doe.

Rigo is to Donaire what Rojas is to Arce.

Why not call out Rigo, instead wants to fight Darchinyan
he calls himself the " Filipino Flash", in reality he's the "Filipino Chicken".

I'm sure he'll be ready for Darchinyan at 122 though.

Feels like Donaire has been taking down a few notches.
He's not walking around saying I want to fight everyone!

I hope he fights Lopez if he wins or even Salido. Those are challenges at 126, not Darchinyan who hasn't been a real factor since he left 115.
