when I called manny on the 145 on the cotto fight i said it was done to gain an advantage because the 2lbs does have an affect and that if floyd did it it would be the same thing.

I said I dont like CW's in title fights because the champ should be able to defend at the max weight well before manny fought cotto.

my opinions on subjects/topics like these have nothing to do with my being a floyd fan or not being a big manny fan.

floyd haters/manny fans/klit lovers/canelo fans are jumping up and down calling floyd and any fans that criticized CW's a hypoctite or flip flopper as they should. they are going so hard to deflect from the fact they are changing their position regarding 2lbs being a big deal (manny v cotto) and that CW's didn't give an advanatge.

So there is essentially a big pool of murky, mucky scum that each group of hypocrites is desperately trying to be the first to escape.
I personally don't mind catch-weights for non-title fights but I definitely do not like them for title fights. The title fight is still technically legit since the limit is within the weight divisions range. For the record:

Manny's catch weights against Cotto and Tony were technically legit but I personally don't like them.

PBF catch weight against Canelo is legit but I personally don't like it.

Where I have the biggest issue is Floyd saying:

"I fight fighters at their best weight"

        or

"I consider Cotto undefeated because he was weight drained"

The guy is a complete hypocrite and cannot be taken seriously in anything he says.

You remember Pac would have been like an 8-1 underdog to Cotto 12 months prior, probably 16-1 18 months prior? It really wasn't that obvious he could handle his 7th, not like being a 2x and current champ in your 5th, ranked #1.

It's this you trying to take the high ground thing that bothers me. It's obvious man, you'll take the low ground every time, just enough with the put on. I thought this big lesson had sunk in, wrong again. It's really distasteful. Like I said, this is a lot like the TR GBP conflict. Bot sides jerks, but one side plays holier than thou and points fingers, other side more into chess than checkers.

my man, floyd has been hypocritical way before this and will be far after.

you know he was saying those things to hype the cotto fight and diffuse those who pointed out manny beat him first. I'm sure you didn't give those comments any credence then. But we agree floyd deserves what he gets on this.

everyone who said floyd was full of **** when he said those things are now cosigning it so they can **** on him. same with ellerbee's comments about 2lbs draining a fighter. then-he was a **** floyd chest rubber who knew nothing; now-he's right.

            This is NSB sometimes.

so what does that have to do with the CW?

I'm not taking any moral high ground. I posted those things when I did because thats what I believe. feel free to agree or disagree. I wasn't trying to win a battle in the floyd manny war with another poster.

you have to be able to separate things my man. yes I take shots at manny, many times just to piss off his fans. but on this I made my position clear.

Pacquiao just cut an insane amount of weight before moving to 140. A lot of casual bettors had no idea.

He was like Chavez JR of the featherweights

As I've always said, partial credit, but not 3 years of abuse, capiche? And what I just said, doesn't it make the request more understandable? Show me one guy that went 7 classes without asking for one. You can't, everyone else either is either asking way sooner, or not moving up at all

I don't know any welter that can sweat down to win the titles at 122, probably not even 130. Hell, if Floyd and Marquez fought at 140 right now, I think I'm taking Marquez by KO. With a $10m/lb overweight penalty, of course
