    Biggest Career Disappointment Kirkland/Guzman/Gamboa/Dirrell?

Imma have to go with Kirkland....i mean dude really could've easily been a top draw in the sport. A woman training him would have also made for a great "gimmick" even tho it wasnt one, if u get what I mean. It's something that could've made him stand out like Canelo being a red headed mexican. Gamboa is number 2 for me...I mean look at who he is fighting next...wtf...he had WAY WAY more buzz than Rigo now Rigo is getting the shine and Gamboa is barely a remembered name. Shame on you 50 Cent

I gotta go with Dirrell, He had all the talent and pedigree and hype and just wasted it with inactivity..

Kirkland a close second because of all his out-of-ring issues

Guzman just never had the right promoters to land the bg fights vs manny etc

Gamboa - needs to stay active,,

At least guzman and gamboa won world titles...

Kirkland is exciting but not very good vs top level guys, so its hard to call him a bust when nobody expected him to become an elite fighter, he is just very exciting

Dirrell had the pedigree to be on p4p lists and become a champ, but he doesnt have the mental makeup to reach that elite level like an andre ward or carl froch does

            good thread... dirrel

            that dude completely flopped

gamboa missed out on rios and a potential broner fight

            kirkland wasnt that good

guzman was okay but wasnt a big deal as the others in terms of hype

Dirrell/Gamboa > Kirkland mainly because of the talent seperation.

Though both still have a future, Dirrell more than Gamboa... imo

1 Andre Dirrell- the only fight cuda gave ward problems jst mentally weak
2 Gamboa - Had one of the biggest buzz in boxing lost it by not fighting, now he rusty
3 Kirkland - Beat angulo for nothing
4 Guzman - Done more than the other 3, but ****ed up with weight issues( seen his last fight)

Guzman by far because out of all of them, he had the greatest talent but wasnt professional enough to make weight in some of his biggest fights.
