Takes the fight - Oh he was forced to fight him.

Are you oblivious to the fact that the force of him fighting Pacquiao was 20x greater? A guy like Floyd doesn't give in to "force", if Showtime wanted him to fight Canelo it would've been in the negotiation talks when they were signing Floyd which probably did happen and Floyd agreed. So all this pressure is nonsense.
Maybe you are right, who knows. Floyd fights the fights that make sense.......for him. Everyone knows that, it's no secret and who could blame him? It makes more sense for him to wait it out a little bit, let Canelo at least head line a PPV first if you wanna make it a "mega fight". Why risk only making 40 million when you could make 60 million by waiting a little?

Floyd's dad wanted the kid to come to 147, "come in over 150 and we ain't fighting"....you can't tell me Canelo was his first choice for an opponent....so it likely wasn't his team that wanted it.

Had to be some other reason to leave money on the table and you could have made great money fighting lesser opposition.

THE REAL "POINT" OF THIS ALL IS THAT.... EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT THIS FIGHT!!! SO BASICALLY EVERYONE IS EXCITED ABOUT THE FIGHT!!!

The cool thing about this fight is that for once everyone will be tuning in to see who 'LOSES'.. not who wins. 50% of the people will be tuning in to see Mayweather lose, and the other 50% will be tuning in to see Canelo lose. So that's what's cool about this fight... not who's going to win, but who is going to get that L on their record. Since it's on Mexican independence day, i hope there are alot of Canelo supporters at the fight... We all know Mayweather is the name to beat.. so he don't really need the crowd behind him, canelo does. Either way good luck to both fighters, and people should quit hating on Mayweather and/or Canelo.. they are 2 reasons why boxing is being talked about at this moment in time.

Canelo, wont do shit to Floyd, for the single fact that he doesnt have a good jab and he is a plodder.

Throw all the stories, and overnalyzed facts into the equation, it doesnt matter. Canelo is just not good enough period, not now, not 2 years ago and not 3 years from now.

Like I said before I wont be surprise if Floyd KO's him!

Too many intangibles for folks to be predicting this fight will go any which way..neither man has faced a opponent as fiercely good at what they do. One is a brute puncher and the other one a technician. We've seen those fights with other boxing setups go everywhich way in terms of outcome. The best man will still be undefeated the day after both will not..that's all we know. Canelo ain't no Guerrero and Mayweather ain't no Trout.

              no ko

I don't think Floyd can ko the kid . but his skills , ring generalship and experience is gonna be tough to beat . Canelo is gonna have to get lucky or show us more than we have seen yet . hE needs to spar with broner , get used to that shoulder roll , that very effective

What's with you and the casual boxing fan mentality? Sure a knockout is entertaining but people fight to win really. One should do whatever it takes to win. A win is a win in anyone's book. Some don't need power to win fights...

It's kinda like the tortoise and the hare story.

People always forget that Team Pacquiao initially said no to random blood testing. You may have also forget that he made random blood testing even more popular than before. You probably also forgot that Team Pacquiao asked for far more outrageous demands such as the penalty for going over the agreed weight, WHICH FLOYD AGREED TO.

                      This is no joke.
