I think this fight is better suited in the east coast but let's not forget that Lucas was based out of Oxnard for a while and his team would mingle with the Robert Garcia camp. Those Oxnard fans are very big boxing fans and always come to support fighters that trained in the city. Look at what's going on with maidana, he has a nice Mexican following since he moved to oxnard

I think the msg has a deal with top rank like how gbp has one with the Barclays. The only fight that I remember involving the garden and gbp would be cotto vs trout and that was all cotto

Hmm interesting.

I still don't agree with this fight being on the west coast. Not only can I not go see it but these guys belong on the east coast.
