This is an east coast fight. Makes no sense at all to stage this fight in LA. They should look at the small room in MSG or book it some other day in Brooklyn.

Man this freakin sucks. Having that fight in the Staples Center makes no sense! Theres so many venues that could hold this fight! Hell bring it to American Airlines Arena in Miami!!

I have read all the Americans debating why is it happening in the West Coast instead of East Coast where Danny is from and Mtthysse from Argentina- I agree it does'nt make sense except if this is supporting bout with Mayweather/Canelo been the main fight or have they announced a different venue for this fight otherwise it does'nt make economic sense - i was just wandering - anyhow wherever it will be I'm looking forward to that fight.

Barclay's Center in Brooklyn has a Fall Out Boy concert scheduled September 7.

Boardwalk Hall lists nothing on their calendar on that date but Schaeffer said it's booked. The date is still a ways off, could be that whatever is scheduled there hasn't been announced yet.

Staples Center in LA also has nothing listed September 7, but again it's still early, may have not been announced yet.

Forget about Philly. Matthysse is pissed at the judges for the Alexander and Judah fights. He is no longer willing to go to another guys hometown to fight him unless that guys name is Floyd Mayweather.

They should just put this fight in Jersey, IZOD I think it's called? where the Devils play.

this is an east coast fight. if it goes out west then it should be the fight before floyd and canelo on the ppv. i cant see why it would be 9/7 in LA.

The Staples Center does not make sense for this match up. You figure they want to maximize earnings they will go after where the fan base will be likely to be.
