Not my point at all. Swift in fact has fought several times in Cali and even Texas if I am not mistaken. For this particular fight, and in this instance, I believe that he should attempt to dictate every aspect of the contract to his benefit. Again, he is the champ and this is going to be his most formidable opponent to date. Why not attempt to stack the odds? Game 7 at home is always better than on the road…

Idk what to tell you man. The fight is still 4 months out and nothing remotely to official has been said. So you kinda jumped the gun a bit too early. =/ We can only hope they stick to the east coast.

Staples center sounds dumb ass ****... These are east coast guys. Garcia, Judah, PEDerson and Matthysse just fought in AC.

They got AC, MSG and DC but instead they go to the west coast. Meh.

Either Schaefer is lying or Arum is lying, they're both snakes so I really don't know. If the concert gets postponed, I can easily see AEG/Staples picking Chavez Jr. over the Matthysse fight simply due to revenue.

I think its Schaeffer lying dude. He says in this article Staples center was the original venue he picked out but hours after Lucas annihilated PEDerson he said he was taking Matthysse-Garcia to the Verizon Center.
