What's funny about Garcia-Matthyse is that Danny is being forced into the fight

Garcia taking the fight is heroic enough on it's own. Imagine how Ali felt watching Foreman destroy Frazier and Norton? Then taking the fight and not giving a damn?

If Danny takes it count me in as a fan no matter what happens.

Where do people come off thinking Danny is B!tchmade? That guy has always said that he'd fight Lucas. He's going to fight Lucas, he's going to beat his ass and win, and then everyone will say that Lucas is overrated.

And don't get it twisted, he's a good fighter, but c'mon, losing to washed up Zab and Alexander? I was impressed with the Peterson win, but its getting out of control

These Haymon boys don't really have that kind of star power YET to oppose a fight the sport want for them. It's true though that Matthysse is the only one heard expressing interest in the fight even when not asked. Garcia rooted for Peterson, which is an indication that he wanted Peterson, not Matthysse. (I really don't know how it feels to be called out. I've seen fighters in any contact sport get insulted for just being called out - which may be the reason for the Peterson preference.)

We've also heard from Garcia that he's interested in a Khan rematch, which is a fip flop from his earlier stance.

I'd be scared as hell if I had to get anywhere close to Lucas. Hell he was coming to greet and I was scared as ****. The man just carries that aura around him. I realized the boogeyman was real that night.

Oh, I have no doubt about that. I don't think for a second Lucas blitzes Danny out in 2, though I do think he's a solid favourite to win. It's my favourite fight to be made in boxing right now, and not only because I really wanna see Angel freaking out at Danny suffering.

Anyway, I made this thread 10 days ago....

And still, we wait for lil Danny to sign on...
