Do you have a link for this? Seems like the sticking point is, they want RUSADA for Povetkin, they'll let Wlad use NADA if he wants.

Well its no surprise money is big part of the fight not happening - money like most modern day sports are ruining the game/sport. The only way the best will face the best each sanctioning body WBA/WBC/IBF etc should have there own department which promote fights they can do the deals and they decide the fighters pursers otherwise a lot of fights won't materialise - if you put the power in the fighters camp these issues will keep arising. If you don't agree you don't get paid let's see how long fighters will duck each other or opt for easier fights. The alphabet bodies then dedcide who fights and if they don't agree thay don't get paid that will soon sort this out.

the russian made a 23 million purse bid. so obviously povetkin's camp wants the fight. this seems like a lowball stalling tactic by K2 to try to have the deadline pass without a signed contract. they want to be running the show but unfortunately they were too cheap to match or better the offer. i'm sorry but i don't think povetkin's team is to blame here. i don't like the brothers or povetkin but i want to see this fight! if the klitschko's can't have their way they take their ball & go home. i'm sure the hate is coming my way but whatever...the fight won't happen unless it's on K2 terms & all their fans will blame it on povetkin & call him a duck, blah, blah, blah...all K2 had to do was buck up & put 23 million & 1 dollar down. instead they look like they are resorting to stalling negotiations so the deadline will pass...their advisors can say whatever they want to save face but in the end the russian put his money where his mouth was & put down the biggest bid...

The June 7th date is interesting, didn't Tyson Fury say he was announcing his opponent on June 8th?

Fury's camp also refuted claims it would be Haye a while back.

It doesn't sound like Klitschko has any intention of fighting Povetkin.
