I don't give a **** what the compubox stats said. Canelo landed the cleaner, more powerful, sharper punches. He made Trout look like a fool in that round where he was missing like a clown. Trout's punches had no conviction and no effect whatsoever on Canelo. When Mayweather sticks and moves he has intent in his punches.. Trout was just trying to keep that ginger the **** away from him.. And as soon as he dared to engage he got knocked down for the first time in his career and did the stanky leg in the process!!!!

Outlanding doesn't mean **** when you don't control the ring and throw pitty pat punches with less conviction and power than a Malignaggi punch!!

I agree with most of what you are saying, but it was a super close fight.. I do think Canelo edged it out 114-113 but thats just my opinion, If he didnt get the knockdown in the 7th he may have lost that round... Canelo fought well in spurts but Trout fought all 3 mins of each round..
Canelo did land the harder shots but they were few and far between..

To say that people who think Trout won dont know anything about boxing is a little absurd... Very close fight and Canelo had huge amount of fan support.. Could have gone either way, but i do think the right guy won...

But can totally see how others think trout won... Its not an absurd idea

i think the judge that had trout winning 2 rounds is the one that don't know crap about boxing.

Watching the fight live I thought Trout edged out a victory, Canelo just didn't seem active enough. I admit I'm a big Trout fan so I have my own bias watching the fight so I am just giving my own view.

I watched the fight again like a month later and have no problem with Canelo winning the fight, he did land cleaner punches. I still think it was areally close and Trout winning is arguable. The one judges scorecard was absolute bull**** some rounds just could not have gone to ginger based on activity alone. I was really impressed by Canelo's defense on the second viewing too.

I thought Canelo won. Neither of the fighters impressed me but I don't believe Trout did enough to win the rounds. Seemed to be that Canelo landed the more effective punches, whilst Trout's punches were either pawing shots or did not connect.

I thought Trout won. Close, but he won.

i had trout up by 1 point.

canelo mightve landed the cleaner punches but ring activity was all trout.
