Comments Thread For: DeGale Will Do Whatever it Takes To Land Carl Froch

JAMES DeGALE rates Carl Froch the most entertaining super-middleweight ever - and is dreaming of boxing his British rival next year.

Former European champion DeGale hailed Froch's unanimous points win over Dane Mikkel Kessler last weekend as one of the best 12-stone fights in history.

Both gladiators exchanged hammer blows yet somehow stayed upright and kept on slugging in a thrilling see-saw battle as Froch claimed Kessler's WBA belt.

DeGale, 27, reckons he is two fights away from taking on Nottingham's superstar after landing a short-notice fight against Croatian Stjepan Bozic on Saturday.

Froch dominates DeGale and stops him. That's all there is to it. DeGale nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. I can't remember the last time I saw him fight and was even the slightest bit impressed.

Would be a good fight. DeGale's style would cause Froch a few problems.

DeGale has regressed since the Groves fight. He's had a gift decision, and appears to like fighting on the ropes against complete cans. He should have severed ties with his inept trainer after Groves; he's going nowhere now.

I think Froch would utterly outclass DeGale.

De Gale isnt no where near good enough

Froch would outclass De Gale from start to finish. Same goes for Groves too and De Gale cant even beat him.

I'd much rather see a Groves Degale rematch, and I'd pick Groves to make an easier night's work of it this time.

Last time I was impresed with Degale was Paul Smith and that's obviously a domestic level fight.

Degale's looked horrible to me at European level.

He's dreaming if he thinks he's getting the Froch fight.

It really wouldn't at all. Mack was a better fight than DeGale would be.

                  Froch by graveyard punch.

A gift decision against who? He beat Wilczewski who is better than anyone Groves has been fighting. In fact, his competition in general has been better than Groves recently.
