How seriously can he be taking his boxing career? Because Solis is fighting a 40 year old club fighting career cruiserweight.

Whoever is managing Solis should be FIRED!! By now he should be fighting Jennings, Banks, Wilder, Fury, Charr, Haye, Arreola, someone like that in a high profile fight on HBO or Showtime.

Solis was completely out of shape in his last 2 fights and he had a verry hard time against the non skilled big guy he fought last time. Solis will only get better opponents when he gets in shape. Why should they pay for an high calliber opponent if Solis is not in any kind of shape to win it? Even his Trainer said he would not work any longer with Solis if hes not willing to get in better shape finally. But i already lost hope for Solis. Hes not dedicated to the sport and it will not change. The man has no pashion and desire.

Based on the, or should I say lack of, responses on this thread Solis isn't even generating much interest on this forum. And that in deed is really sad.

He's been fat his whole career but still fought some names that way, including Vitali.....but don't expect him to get in any kind of shape if you put someone in front of him that doesn't motivate him. Even Duran and Chavez were the same way. Make him sink or swim.

the worst part is his handlers had 2 fights lined up for him in late 2012 & one was a slot vs adamek on NBC. it was solis himself who said no he didn't want the fight unless he got more money. then he fights larsen instead...
