It should be an exciting and explosive fight, but the hype just hasn't been there since both guys are coming off unquestionable losses. May-Canelo has very much overshadowed the match as well.

What's crazy is that this might not even be the 2nd best fight well be expecting....is Garcia n Lucas gets made this will be over shadowed by 3 fights

      Floyd vs canelo
      Bradley vs jmm
      Garcia vs Lucas
      And then PAC vs rios
What a year and a ko loss will do for a man and his career

its not going to be an exciting fight for it to be like that Rios would have to do something and does anybody think Rios will make it exciting?

this reminds me of when Pacquiao fought Mosley to justify that fight the talking point was their style will make an action packed explosive fight

It's nothing like Mosley. It's more like Marg, and that was an exciting and taxing fight for Pac. Rios will be about the same size as marg fight night, and will take some chopping down. If Pac's chin is cracked or gunshy, all bets are off

1 that fight wasn't exciting and 2 Rios is JrWW but I guess maybe he will block punches with his face like Marg

yeah i know bet it had you reaching for your floyd jmm copy to jerk off to.

Rios was just 160 fight night at JWW. he'll at least be a smw fight night, maybe even lhw like big bad canelo. i thought you'd have learned to appreciate fight night size diff in the past week, when it hit a little closer to home.

Rios is a B grade bum coming of 2 losses that has never fought at WW and he is being served on a plate to make Manny look good , thats whats going down with this fight , its a straight up give me fight for Manny , at least they could have picked the guy that beat Rios instead of the battle of the losers .

I think there will be a lot more discussion once the fight draws near. Its 5 months away and there are some good fights before then that are getting all the attention right now.

how's he coming off 2 losses? he knocked out the guy that just decisioned him, just last year. pac should look great against him, but if he's off as he might be coming off that ko, he has a 15lbs heavier iron chinned oppnent in front of him that comes forward non stop and moves hands not stop. hopkins thought it was very gutsy, but reoaded knows better. rjj was saying, "this kid rios is a serious inside figher" but what do these punks know
