I am more annoyed that Rios gets a Pacquiao payday over Mile High Mike.

I disagree. Rios will make the fight much more exciting than Alvarado. Me thinks.

Ofcourse rios will try to grind him down and outlast him, he still has no chance of succeeding at it.

Rios will stop coming too, his face first style wont allow him to last long at 147 where he doesnt have the massive size advantage he did at the lower weights.

Which brings me to my next point, there is a difference between weight and size. Rios could be 20lbs heavier than margarito and he still wouldnt be tonys size. Tony is a natural MW at the very least while rios according to himself and his team is a natural WW. There is zero chance ha can absorb the kind of punches tony did at 147 and above, a few rounds into the pacquiao fight that will be as obvious to you ad it is to everyone else already.

And even if he did he wouldnt stand a chance, rios doesnt cut the ring off as well as margarito did, his boxing iq is even lower, he throws less punches, applies less pressure and has less height and reach. He is much easier to outbox and keep at bay. If abril and alvarado can outbox him, in abrils case with ease. Do you really think pacquiao couldnt?

And dont tell me pacquiao wont box he will fight because anytime he throws rios will have both hands wrapped around his face completely incapable of countering. When pac is done tattooing him he will sidestep him and move, also leaving rios no chance of landing. This will be repeated until rios is knocked out, which shouldnt take more than 5-6 rounds at most. Only way rios gets off is if pac allows him so he can counter one of his wide, slow swings.

Yes I am, although I feel Alvarado should have gotten the fight. The only drawback to Alvarado getting the fight is the fact that it'd be less action packed. Top Rank was really praying Rios would win the rematch. The reason I'm intrigued by this match up, one word...bloodshed. Oh and to see where Pac's chin/ability is at after KO6.

great action fight, but terrible fight in terms of quality.

the fact that Floyd gets more criticism for fighting Canelo than Pac gets for fighting Rios shows you just how far Pac has fallen. The standards for him are so low now its unreal.

I don't really disagree with anything too much, except maybe on size and weight. In boxing size = weight, and they'll be about same fight night. I agree Marg is a bit bigger "naturally", a little better at that stage, far from washed up like the usual talking point. Rios was also was a surprisingly good amateur unlike Marg, but obviously Marg a way more experienced pro. But really, everything that Marg does Rios does, almost as well or a little worse. Even cutting off the ring, he can do it but it's harder when the mover is a 159 jww that can punch a little himself. Marg would not lose to Mike, though. Pac is on much shakier ground now, and even a Marg Jr would be hell for a guy that's gone gunshy, say like RJJ vs Johnson.

that's what a thundering ko loss will do

and floyd is not getting criticism for canelo, it's for the catchweight. fails very short of his and his fans standards

We all know Abril has the key to Rios , what did Abril weigh to beat your iron chined B grader ?

You believe all the hype and disbelieve your own eyes , strange how that happens to young fellas .

How can you criticize Floyd when only days ago you were saying how he is ducking Canelo lol , and while stuttering over that you said he was draining Canelo lol , which is impossible if you think Cotto and Margo were not drained !

You Pac fans are between a rock and a hard place surrounded by your own bull dust on all sides , looks like karma not only caught up with Manny but his fanboys as well .

Rios didn't have two losses, and he lost in a close fight.

You use to say Pac beat drained fighters, so with that being said, you got to say Canelo is drained too.

Catch weight is a catch weight.
