Froch will never take a Ward fight again...

Warren said to thesun.co.uk “He [Froch] would not have beaten Joe Calzaghe…twice I offered Froch the Calzaghe fight but both times he stalled. He knew Calzaghe was as tough as him, yet far more quicker and more skilled.”

The first fight was a shut out, why would there be cause for a rematch? Carl needs to move on, and Andre needs to move up. He's clearly the best fighter at 168, he knocked out the top guy at 175 and everyone else in that division are no where near Dawson. Why is Froch this thirsty for another beating? I like Carl, I really do, but he's gotta move on. And attacking Ward's style of fighting won't help his. I honestly would much rather watch Ward than Carl. But, whatever, If this rematch takes place, I expect another 12-0 drubbing, and possibly a stoppage.
I kind of agree with this. Not psyched for this fight at all. The script has already been written. I would rather see him face Kessler again, Hopkins, groves/cleverly or even the Bute rematch than Andre Ward. The first fight was an absolute stinker and almost a shutout. It wasn't anywhere near as close as the judges made it out to be.

Plus, I think Frochy makes more money fighting in the UK against bigger names like the ones I mentioned. I'm not even sure the fight would be on PPV. It's just a hard fight to sell IMO. It certainly won't have that crossover appeal like the Kessler fight or the Bute fight. And it really doesn't matter if they fight in Oakland, in England or on the North Pole.

Do you really believe the word of Frank Warren on this over a guy who has consistently fought the best home and away?

It's obvious Warren has "issues" with Hearn (and I heard Froch called Calzaghe back then)...
But I still believe Carl will not fight Ward again -- the Vegas call is simply nonsense...
            (I have nothing against Froch)...

Don't believe that, he will fight him again and he would love to fight in Vegas. The only way I see Froch not fighting Ward again is if he loses to someone else e.g. Hopkins, or Ward leaves the division.

They're both bloody mismatches you numbskull.
Horrendous analogy, the two situations aren't even compatible in the slightest.

Anyway, what else do you suggest Froch and Ward do next? There's nothing else out there for either at this stage.

Froch is delusional if he really thinks he should be calling the shots. I think he knows maybe that he shouldn't but he acts like he is. Ward would beat him up again.

Ward will find an excuse to fight someone else in Oakland.
