The jab to the solar plexus will tire Canelo out quickly.

Only other style that beats Floyd is like a Roy Jones Jr, some would say Chavez Jr or Duran, but if Floyd stays on his toes counterpunching you lose. Or canelo needs a few knockdowns and for Floyd to grow old overnight.
It's hard to hit Floyd in his head, but Canelo could hit him in the body if he makes a conscious effort to do so. He has to fight at his pace and constantly put on the pressure and wear Floyd down before its the other way around.

Nobody ever goes to Floyd's body. But that's because once the opponents get hit in the head, they abandon the body attack and go into defense mode.

This is pretty much the way it's going down after the first or second round....

now that Cherrypicker is using his legs, I doubt the ginger will be able to hit Cherrypicker's body

problem is, the ginger ain't a pressure fighter and he doesn't have the stamina to do that even if that is the gameplan

well, cherrypicker has reverted to running, and when you actually get close enough to hit him, he holds onto you for dear life. the more and more I think about this fight, the more I think cherrypicker will totally embarass the ginger.

not smart enough. to emphasize on not a way to be is exactly what will happen but in the opposite. this kid will get cooked.and if he gets tired while missing with those slow ass over hand rights.the incoming counters will be fast and accurate.

Over the years, Canelo watched a lot of Mayweather's fights and he noticed a common trend in many of them - Mayweather's opponents begin to get desperate due to frustration. [Click Here To Read More]
dawg, you can't weigh in no more than 152 pounds for a 154 pound title unification fight....too late for not being desperate!!!...smh

He takes a lot of body punches away with his elbows, moving and just turning at an angle so if you did try you would be out of position. I think Canelo should make Floyd lead but, just counter with jabs not trying to KO him just put a beating on his body with it arms, shoulders, everyting but the head. Also, Floyd leaves himself open upstairs more when he leads. The pressure is on Floyd not Canelo to perform. I still think Floyd takes it but, good to see Canelo isn't taking that ****** im going to KO him and beat the **** out of him crap.

Alvarez will either get desperate (around round 5 or 6) or he will simply quit on his stool out of frustration. In terms of his overall skill level compared to Mayweather's previous opponents, Alvarez is about at the level of an Angel Manfredy or a Henry Brussells and we all know what happened to them. The only reason Alvarez won't get KO'd is due to his size, and I still think there is a good chance that his corner will stop the fight at the end of round 9 or 10.

Lol Actually not a ginger fan at all.. In fact I had him losing to Trout. Like I said IF their is a stamina problem Canelo is a big boy n I'm sure he'll work on fixing it before the fight. Though I don't think it's going to matter much cause he still lacks the physical tools to beat Floyd; You need more then just great stamina and intelligence.. you need great hand speed and foot speed as well. There really is no Sugar Ray's or Sweet Pea's in this era with both the skill and the tools to beat a fighter like Floyd.

Maybe someone on this post could help me out? How good is the seating in the nosebleed section at the Mgm garden Arena? I wanna make out to this mega fight to see it live but could probably only afford the nosebleed section. Is this an intimate arena built strictly for boxing where ur up close? Because I have been inside the Mandalay Events Center and to me it didn't seem like there was a bad seat in the house. Someone help me out if you have been inside this arena?
