Is it the catch weight or the hypocrisy?

Its the hyprocrisy is the reason people are laughing at floyd and making fun of him, especially on what he said about why the catch weight matter and how the two pounds matters.

Catchweight I dont care about just dont put titles on the line.

I mean what happens if either win the titles, are they gonna defend that title at the real weight or are they gonna try to drain or bring up a fighter to defend that title, its just dumb. Titles should never be at a catchweight because the next up in line for that title shouldent be denied cause he might be too big or too small for the oppenent with the title he shouldent have in the first place

Most of the time the guy is coming up in weight, and it plays out like one of these:

1. He gets beat up by the bigger man, goes back down. Big guy defends title at full weight
2. He wins the CW title, and from that point defends it at full weight
3. He goes back down in weight, never defending his title. IMO that makes him a paper titlist a division up. Hopefully he has the decency to vacate asap

These are all pretty common.

For me it's the Catchweight. Floyd and Ellerbe know damn well that a 2 pound catchweight drains a fighter. That's why they were so vocal about it in the past, before this fight was made.

I'm sure you've seen all the Floyd and Ellerbe quotes regarding catchweights, right?
