I was very happy about this fight happening but the news about Floyd draining Canelo came and it ruined it. Ellerbe said himself, those two pounds that Cotto had to shed made him a "dead man walking" so I assume they are keeping the same stance on Canelo. Unfortunately I will not pay to watch a dead man walking drained Canelo.

Why wasn't this a concern in the DLH bout? DLH officially weighed in at 160 for the Sturm fight. He officially weighed in 153.5 for the Mayorga bout. He officially weighed in at 154 for the FMJ bout. It's NOT completely outside the realm of possibility that DLH could have rehydrated close to OR exactly at 170+ come fight night against FMJ. I completely understand that FMJ had no bargaining power to institute a catchweight for the DLH bout, but knowing how outspoken he is, he could have made a little public complaint of it...
