Many fans have centered their attention on the contracted weight for the junior middleweight clash between Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs) and WBC/WBA/Ring champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (44-0-1, 30KOs), taking place on September 14th and live on Showtime Pay-Per-View from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The two boxers will battle at 152-pounds, two pounds below the junior middleweight limit of 154.

Can't wait to see the vids when the media questions him on previous quotes he's made about catch-weights.

"There was some concerns from Mayweather's camp members, as Canelo rehydrates to 170"

Those were legit concerns, I'm glad we got the fight though.

Yeah he'll receive some flack for backtracking on stuff he's said in the past but its nothing to be embarrassed about at all. Canelo coming in as a MW+ is a legitimate concern no matter how much Mayweather and his fans believe he is invincible and no matter how badly Mayweather's detractors want to see him lose.

Meh, he'll stutter his way through it like he does everything else and go off on a rant about something entirely unrelated. We've seen this before.

Canelo "To make the fight I had to give a little (On weight) and he had to give a little too"

Acknowledging that Mayweather'c concerns were legit. Who could argue against that?
