That fight was a damn farce for a number of farce like reasons, period.

That is absolutely not a fact, in any way, shape or form.

It's an impressive achievement. Lineal titles are the only ones that matter. I'm done recognizing fighters that hop divisions and steal easy belts. If you want to be called a champion beat the #1 guy in the division.

No he won the lineal title from Baldo, then retired, came back and won the lineal title from Mosley,so he is a 2 time lineal champ at 147

Mosley-Mayweather wasn't universally recognised as a Lineal championship, hence he isn't the lineal 147 champion right now. It was personal preference as to who you ranked over Pacquiao or Mosley, Mosley wasn't seen as the number 1/2 contender by everyone, or even by a massive majority.

As far as I know, even the RING (yes, even the RING) didn't hand their belt out for that fight.

As far as I can remember, Floyd currently had lineal championships at 130, 135, 147 (from Baldomir). 3 weights, 3-time. Whether or not you think a catchweight constitutes a true lineage for 154, is up to you.

ring belt is awarded to the winner of #1 v #2 ranked fighters fight. That's why it was awarded when canelo and trout fought.
