went to the Atlanta Presser today... was freaking awesome.. Canelo Alvarez is a class act.. dude must have signed 20 gloves... he was signing **** for people even when his management and trainers and security was hurrying him out, as he got mobbed with fans..

i'm gonna post some footage of the presser later tonight... some funny stuff from holyfield as well..

- There is no rehydration clause on this fight like other fighters have done when feeling they need some sort of advantage to win.

- Alvarez demanded 150, Floyd accepted 152. Alvarez agreed. Floyd agreed. The fight that everyone said Floyd wouldn't take is taking place September 14th.

- Alvarez will weigh somewhere between 160-170 on fight night. Floyd has never weighed over 151.


I have Floyd outboxing Alvarez and making him at times look slow and like a clown. However I see Alvarez getting the decision that sets up a massive rematch that will spawn a new "Golden (goose) Boy" in Alvarez. Saying that Alvarez does have a punchers chance. Yet it's not the power that gets to Floyd, it's speed, ring smarts/generalship and a consistent jab that is thrown for 12 rounds. I don't see anyone JMW and below that has this. If Floyd moves up past JMW, power and size will win.
