So basically the game plan for Canelo is use intelligent pressure similarly as the way Cotto did. Will he be able to pull it off? One thing for sure, Floyd won't underestimate him the way he did Cotto. Floyd needs to watch out for the uppercut counter that Canelo likes to throw when his opponents gets impatient, the left hooks to the body, and overhand right.

IMO it helped that Ellerbe is from DC so they basically hung out there for a good while before going to Michigan
