Horrible match up for Chisora, what is Warren thinking? Tall, top boxer with no apparent chin problems. He can range around and pick Chisora apart. The Wilder fight would have been perfect for Chisora, I would have really liked him in that, since Wilder has shown chin issues and is an incomplete boxer relying on power, which Chisora generally handles well. With Scott, even with hometown judging its gonna be tough. Scott is usually regarded in top 20-30, and Chisora top 15, so if Chisora wins won't do him much good, but great move for Scott. If he wins it puts him in top 15 and in a good position to argue for a title shot. If Chisora loses, it really puts him at the gatekeeper level. There were plenty of other safer fighters for Chisora in that range, Boytsov, Pianeta, Dimitrenko, Glazkov. As is I'd have to make Scott a slight favorite.

he already is already a gatekeeper since he lost 4 fights to fury, haye, helenius & vitali. if chisora wants to still be considered for a title he needs to beat a guy like malik scott. this is an important fight for both. i agree with you that scott has more to gain but chisora already had his title shot & 2 guys ahead of him in the rankings have already beaten him. if scott loses to chisora then you can all but write him off as a possible challenger...
